For the train it is possible to buy a ticket for another date. For the RET, the time limit of your ticket starts immediately after purchase. With a 2-hour ticket, for example, this means that the ticket is valid for 2 hours straight from the moment of purchase. So you cannot buy this ticket in advance to use on another day.
